Fields of Honor Forum: Veterans Cultivating Change

The Veteran’s Farm of NC would like to invite you to an evening of open forum between farmers, veterans, and political canidates. The Fields of Honor Forum is a unique event where politicians, farmers, and military veterans unite to address veterans’ suicide prevention. It fosters constructive dialogue and connections, focusing on empowering veterans through agriculture, offering healing opportunities, and preventing suicide. This diverse gathering aims to sow seeds of positive change in the lives of those who have served our nation.

Thanksgiving Turkey Order

Make your Thanksgiving dinner truly special by ordering a fresh, free-range, heritage breed turkey from The Veteran’s Farm of NC.

These turkeys are hatched and raised on the farm and processed right there to ensure the highest quality. Pickup is on a first-come, first-served basis and starts on Tuesday at noon, continuing until Wednesday at 3 pm.

The total cost is $9 per pound, minus a $20 deposit, payable at pickup.
A 10 lb turkey will cost you $90 – $20 deposit = $70 due at pick up.

Intro to Beekeeping

Join us for an exciting and educational event where you can learn all about the fascinating world of beekeeping! This event is primarily for beginners.
During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the secrets of beekeeping from our experienced and passionate beekeepers. They will guide you through the basics, including hive management, bee behavior, and basics of honey extraction.

Located at The Veteran’s Farm of NC, 160 Brookstone Drive, Cameron, NC this event promises to bee a hive of activity. Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal with these incredible creatures.
So, mark your calendars and come along to our Intro to Beekeeping. You’ll leave with a newfound appreciation for bees and all the knowledge you need to start your own buzzing adventure!

Farm Day Fundraiser

Step into the heart of the countryside on Saturday, October 21st, for a day filled with rustic charm and wholesome fun! From 2-8 pm, immerse yourself in a unique blend of traditional farm activities and lively entertainment at our Farm Day Fundraiser.

Support our farmer veterans as they showcase their handcrafted goods and produce. Let the melodies of live music set the backdrop as you indulge in delightful treats from our ice cream truck or engage in some friendly competition at our Cornhole tournament. For those with a competitive spirit, the Farm Olympics await – a test of skill, wit, and farm prowess! And that’s not all; try your luck at our silent auction, pick up some green treasures at our plant sale, or simply relish in the array of farm games we have in store.
